NERDSPEAK IS HERE!! …but standing by…

WELCOME EVERYBODY!

As you can see we are no longer Whargarbl TV …. it was a bit hard to pronounce don’t you think? lol… well not only that, we lost a few members to the crew, so that they could venture out into their own little photography/production crew. Please check them out and support them, they call themselves Desklight Media, and it looks like they are off to a pretty good start.

We felt it inappropriate to keep the name that the original members came up with since I’m the only one really left, so we came up with a new name. It’s a lot easier to pronounce and a little easier to understand. We are now NERDSPEAK MEDIA.

Pretty straightforward, we are a bunch of nerds, freaks, and geeks bringing to you all the nerdiness coming from Movies/TV, and Music that we can gather. As a media group we look for what we think the public/readers/viewers may be wanting to know about a certain movie, tv show, band, composer or anything within the entertainment industry.

Though we have the name up and the site slightly changed, we are still in the busy works of creating a new feel and look for everything. So please bare with us as we go under construction for a few months. We will not have any new posts within the next 2 months, as we are working on a few improvements to our little company.

January will be our goal to unleash the new style and start over from scratch. We hope you continue coming back, and we thank everyone for their continuing support. It definitely means a whole lot to us. See everybody in 2 months time!!

Official Synopsis for “The Amazing Spiderman” released

As most of us already know, Sony will be releasing a reboot of the Spiderman films, this time Peter Parker being played by Andrew Garfield(The Social Network). The film is entitled The Amazing Spiderman and directed by Marc Webb. Not a lot has been given as to what the story will hold for this new film. Rhys Ifans will be Dr. Conners aka the Lizard, and Gwen Stacy will be the leading the lady played by Emma Stone.

The film is basically the early years of Peter Parker’s stages of becoming Spiderman. So for all you Mary Jane fans out there, this is not that plotline. READ THE FULL ARTICLE >>

‘Mirror Mirror’ International vs Domestic Trailer?

Can someone answer this question…. Why are International trailers always 1up-ing the domestic trailers? I saw the US trailer for Tarsem Signh’s “Grimm Brothers”-fashioned Snow White film entitled Mirror Mirror not too long ago and just ran into the International trailer via SlashFilm.

I like Tarsem Singh, but the US trailer didn’t appeal to me. Now this trailer comes out and it seems like it’s starting to bait me in. Either way, I’ll let you decide. Check out both trailers for the film Mirror Mirror and leave your comments letting us know of what you think.

Thrive creates charity…”Unify To Thrive”

Normally Nerdspeak Media focuses on the topics of tv/movies/music. On this particular article I thought it would be a good idea to bring up something more serious. Thrive’s saxophonist, Scott Schipper has been diagnosed with a particular type of cancer and he created a charity called Unify To Thrive. Here’s Scott Schipper with the details:

Angry Birds 2011 – (Un)Official Movie Trailer is Awesome

I know we said we won’t be back until January, but I can’t help it when I see something and it’s just too good not to share. So….. yeah check it out…

From the folks who brought you the awesome Mortal Kombat: Legacy online series. Comes Angry Birds, the movie!

Jason and Tommy are tasked with delivering the Queen Mum’s famed FabergĂ© egg collection to a museum in Philadelphia. Only when they get to America, they find the eggs are gone. A team of highly-trained femme fatale art thieves have stolen the case the eggs were transported in, only to discover another team of swine-masked bandits has made off with the actual prize.

These so-called “American birds” aren’t just going to sit back, and let someone else get all the glory and gold. They’re smart. They’re sexy. And now, these birds are angry.

Halo Web Mini-Series Coming This January

I know, we said we won’t be posting much of anything until January, but this couldn’t wait.

Also coming this January, besides our return to the web. Will be a new web-series based on the ever so popular Halo. If you haven’t done so yet, I suggest buying the recent release of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, and also picking up a couple of the books as well as reserving the upcoming Halo 4 game. If you can’t tell by now, I’m a HALO fanatic.

Though you don’t have to get the games or even had to play them for you to understand the mini-series, it would help to get to know some of the small things that these people put into the series. Though it’s not necessary either, I would recommend picking up the books for the series is based off of author Tobias Buckell’s short story “Dirt” from Halo: Evolutions. It follows the life of an ODST and the tragedies he endures leading up the Fall of Reach. The books are good reads too, so it wouldn’t hurt to look it up.

The series will be called Halo: Helljumper. The production quality is looking real good, though you can tell it’s an independent fan-series, it looks to be worth the watch. Hollywood, we’re waiting for you to step up and make those talks about making a movie real!!
